Broadneck High School field hockey athlete Aislinn Probst was selected to the first-team All-State squad last week, and two were named on the honorable mention squad. According to The Baltimore Sun, the state Field Hockey Coaches Association released its list for All-State first-team, second-team and honorable mention. Three Bruins were among those named to the various lists. Probst earned first-team honors for her role in attack. Midfielder Sara Ruzzi and attacker Abbey Meehan earned honorable mention. A Broadneck High School lacrosse star was named most valuable player this week in a national tournament featuring some of the best high school players in the country. BHS girls’ lacrosse player Aislinn Probst was named the MVP for team Freedom in the Champion All-American Showcase, which wrapped up this weekend. The tournament featured players nominated and selected by coaches from around the country. The championship game in the all-star tournament was played between team Freedom and team Liberty. The final score was Freedom 16, Liberty 13, with Aislinn Probst named as the MVP for Freedom. Probst will be a senior this fall at BHS.
