Arnold Safeway Launches Gas Rewards Program with Exxon/Mobil

For every $1 spent, customers receive one point. Every 100 points can be redeemed for 10 cents off per gallon at the pump.

It's time to put all those trips to Safeway to use at the pump. The Arnold location of the supermarket chain launched a gas rewards program for Exxon/Mobil gas stations on Wednesday. Customers will now accumulate points with each purchase, and can use them for gas discounts, between 10 cents to $1 off each gallon. For every $1 spent, customers receive one point. Every 100 points can be redeemed for 10 cents off per gallon at the pump. The discount program is similar to the one Giant supermarket uses with Shell gas stations, but it is the first rewards program of its kind for Arnold residents. Your right about that too. Don't buy their packaged fruit (strawberries, blackberries) - hidden mold on the bottom row where you cannot see it. I was always throwing away most of the package. Same with oranges or apples in a package, many bad in the bags. There is not enough turnover, probably because the store is so poorly managed.
