A look at a fun and time-honored tradition of decorating holiday cookies for family gatherings or holiday parties.
One of my favorite childhood holiday traditions decorating cookies; the possibilities were endless. In the world of holiday cookies, you could have a purple reindeer with an orange Reese's Piece nose to guide Santa's sleigh. You could have a blue Christmas tree with red hots and chocolate chips for lights. In the imaginative world of the holiday cookie, anything is possible. Share your favorite Christmas tree ornament with your neighbors.
What's your tree look like this year? Upload photos of your tree to this gallery. We decided on a smaller tree again this year. And I really do mean small. It's about one foot tall, which makes it pretty easy to decorate. Our traditional ornament is a German pickle. A German tradition was to hide a pickle in the Christmas tree after all the other ornaments were hung. In the morning, if a child found the pickle, they'd get an extra present. If an adult found it, it meant good luck for the next year. So you're welcome for all of that good luck. Just click the "Upload Photos and Videos" tab to share your holiday pictures.
