Broadneck Key Club Given $1,000 Check from All State
The funds will be used for the Key Club's campaign to deter students from texting while driving.
The All State Foundation bestowed a $1,000 check to the Broadneck High School Key Club for its ongoing campaign to deter students from texting while driving. The money will be used for promotional posters and reminders throughout the year, but also focused around prom, said club President Christina Dehn. The high school senior also heads the school's SAVE (Students Against Violence Everywhere) club. "I think when you put the information out there about how bad it can be, students do listen," Dehn said regarding previous campaigns. It is the second consecutive year that All State has given the club a check of this magnitude.
