Anne Arundel County police released photos on Thursday of a person of interest and vehicle that may have been involved in a purse snatching incident that occurred earlier in the week. A woman reported that her purse was stolen in the parking lot of the Arnold Post Office on Monday afternoon. Police described the suspect as a black woman, about 5 feet 2 inches tall with a medium build and dyed red hair. Police said the vehicle involved in the incident was described as a red or maroon Dodge Magnum with tinted windows. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-222-6145. See more:

Police say a woman grabbed the victim's purse as she went to get in her car.
As a woman was leaving the post office in Arnold on Monday afternoon, she told police that another woman grabbed her purse. According to Anne Arundel County police, officers from the eastern district responded to the 1500 block of Ritchie Highway in Arnold on Monday at about 4:23 p.m. for a reported robbery. The victim told police that she was in the parking lot when a woman snatched her purse from her shoulder, causing her to fall down. The suspect reportedly ran to a waiting red vehicle that fled on Church Road towards Arnold Road. A man robbed a woman in the Chesapeake Academy parking lot on Wednesday.
Police released a sketch of a purse snatcher who robbed a woman in the Chesapeake Academy parking lot on Wednesday. The man is described as a black male in his 30s, 6-feet tall, weighing 210 pounds, clean shaven with an average build, according to a police press release. A 57-year-old woman sustained minor injuries when a man reportedly grabbed her purse off her shoulder and knocked her to the ground, according to a police release. The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a silver sedan. The incident took place in the parking lot of the Chesapeake Academy, located at 1185 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. in Arnold.
