The online coupon offerings are more convenient, as I spend a lot of time on the computer, but taking the time to print and cut is also not a task that I would take the time to do. Also, when I am in a longer line at the store, using coupons adds to the time the people behind me have to spend and stress starts to creep in as the …

I've had friends who have been very successful at saving money with coupon clipping, but I've never seen the likes of what was on that show. One woman walked out of the store with over $1,000 worth of groceries for less than $10! She was not the only one. Every person they featured experienced savings of 90% to 95% off the retail price. That was just phenomenal to me and would be to many other mothers who strive to save here and there just to make ends meet. Clipping is definitely a time consuming endeavor, and there needs to be a lot of initial work, organization and pre-planning in order to get to the point of saving that much, …

Your right about that too. Don't buy their packaged fruit (strawberries, blackberries) - hidden mold on the bottom row where you cannot see it. I was always throwing away most of the package. Same with oranges or apples in a package, many bad in the bags. There is not enough turnover, probably because the store is so poorly managed. I wonder why the health dept hasn't been in there either. I saw …   more ›
