The Point is set to open on Labor Day, Sept. 3.

Lights went on this week at Broadneck's newest restaurant, The Point Crab House & Grill. The seafood destination is set to host a grand opening on Labor Day weekend, starting Aug. 31. The Point's co-owner Bobby Jones is finalizing the restaurant's menu, which he said would consist of locally sourced, traditional Maryland food. The menu's items will change throughout the year depending on what's freshest. The Point Crab House is Broadneck's Newest Seafood Destination

The new restaurant is expected to open by Labor Day.

Swing by Ferry Point Marina in Arnold and you can see the final touches being placed on The Point Crab House and Grille—the newest restaurant in town. Located in the former spot of Magothy Seafood, The Point was built from the ground up to be a new kind of restaurant experience, its owners said. It overlooks Mill Creek, and the garage-door style windows give patrons a perfect view of the water. Bobby Jones, co-owner of the restaurant, said he hopes to hold the grand opening of The Point by Labor Day, with a soft opening scheduled a few days before that. He's already finalized the menu, which he said would consist of locally sourced, traditional Maryland food. "The menu is inspired by food that we ate growing up around the bay," Jones said…
