Weather Service Warns of Snow Thursday

The National Weather Service said as much as five inches of snow could come late in the day.

Get ready for some snow on Thursday. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter storm watch for Anne Arundel County and much of the Baltimore and Washington, DC, region and forecasts a possible five—or more—inches of snow. According to Weather.com, Arnold and Cape St. Claire could experience snow showers on Thursday, with temps in the low 30s. But expect a turnaround over the weekend, with highs in the upper 40s. A winter storm watch means there is the potential for significant snowfall, as opposed to a warning, which indicates a storm is imminent.
