Ann-Marie Sedor, Neighbor

Ann-Marie grew up in several different countries and states, which has given her a deep appreciation for finally putting down roots in charming Cape St. Claire. She lives here with her husband, two young sons and the family cat. Writing has been an intrinsic part of her life for as long as she can remember, starting with winning a fifth grade short story award, moving on to serve as her high school yearbook’s managing editor, then completing a stint as op-ed writer for her college newspaper and, most recently, covering local news and writing features for various newspapers and magazines. Though she is now a graphic designer and brand marketing manager, her true passion will always remain the written word. To bring excitement to her life, she enjoys cushion fighting with her sons, discovering new places, cooking up a gourmet storm and anything to do with fonts. The day-to-day business of organizing a family, updating a nondescript 1960s split-level and mucking about in an oversized albeit slightly overgrown garden provides her with an endless source of frustration and anxiety but ultimately, with the inspiration for appreciating life.
