About Cape
Christy has lived in Cape St. Claire since 1993. She is a South Carolinian by birth but grew up in Northern California before returning to the East Coast to attend Duke University. After graduating with degrees in Physics and Math, she put in a brief stint making sandwiches at Booeymonger in Georgetown, Washington DC, before finding a job more applicable to her field of study at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. She met her husband and completed a Master's degree in Applied Physics at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab while working for NASA. They moved to the Annapolis area when they were married in 1993, and together, they now have, two children, two dogs, one cat and several fish. Christy has been a stay-at-home Mom since the birth of her second child and has recently taken up blogging to the dismay of her husband and middle school-aged children.
