Laurie Garvey, Neighbor

Laurie Garvey and her husband Peter have lived in the Cape St. Claire Community for over 16 years. During that time they have shuffled their 5 kids to every sporting event offered on the Broadneck Peninsula and there are plenty to choose from! She has also written sports copy for the Anne Arundel County television show and interviewed local high school sports stars. When she’s not cheering on a local team, Laurie can be found in a yoga class or walking her dogs around the Cape, and when the weather co-operates, boating on the Magothy River with family and friends.
