While this is my first venture into the land of internet wine advice, I have been working in the beverage industry for more years than I would care to relate or probably remember. I bartended in Annapolis for 12 years, have been in managerial positions in restaurants for five or so years, and have selected wines for both wine lists and catering facilities for a number of years and for several different establishments. I passed my level three Sommelier exam January of 2009, so I hope I know what I am talking about. While I am sure I may get slightly geeky at times, hopefully the advice will be easy to understand and helpful.
