ReplyI sure hope if they only get probation they will at least be disarmed .. oh yeah they are criminals so they will just get another gun from another criminal. Great job to the police departments but I do not think the judicial system will do much about it because no one was shot and we don't have the room or the money for long term incarcerations. So many crimes so little resources!!

ReplyIf there were children watching this telecast (way past normal bedtime) they probably already say it themselves. That word is no longer the "BAD" word that it was in my youth, today it is an adjective. Some of the stuff on TV is a whole lot worse than a word .. but I guess the Parents Council needs to have a reason to exsist so we have to listen to their rhetoric.

ReplyPlease explain why you are looking for school funding .. isn't that why the 6th casino and table games were voted in??? Maryland is a very heavily taxed state already, it is time that the politicians stopped wasting our money and give the taxpayer a break.

ReplyMore FEES?? We really need some school improvements but more than that we need REAL teachers that could pass some of the tests that is given to high school students. I have seen and heard the teachers that are in the schools today and if it were "back in the day" would still be in high school themselves. O'Malley is interested in running for president in 2016 "God Help America" as the beat goes on.

ReplyWell Sean, do you think you could identify anyone of the four people in the above pic? I have never been able to see anything but the color of the person but never any clear shot of the face of any person. In addition, I have talked to policemen regarding the cameras and the ones I talked to didn't have anything good to say about them. Another thing, cameras wear out and I am sure that the City of Baltimore is not diligent abut keeping them updated or maintained even.

ReplyPlease tell me why the taxayers spent so much money for the surveillance cameras when they clearly do not work?? The government, whether local, state or federal just keep throwing money away because they must use up the budgets. Budgets, that is one of the problems with government spending, you must spend it or you will not get it next year; year after year there is a scurry to spend the budget.

ReplyWell, well, well .. did anyone honestly think this would fail in Annapolis? Michael Busch and Mike Miller run PG County and this gives the politicians more money in their pockets. This was in the plans from the very beginning of the planning process. Pleases tell me why gambling is going to save the State of Maryland now and it was the "Devil's Den" when Erlich was in office and wanted to pass gambling?? How do the people in Annapolis sleep at night knowing that they once again passed a big tax increase (through fees and taxes) to the people then let the casino owners make big profits. I wonder how much goes into the pockets of our illustreous representatives??

Has anyone even considered the real property tax breaks that the formidable Johns Hopkins reaps?? Being a school or a non-profit allows them to pay NO property tax and yet they continue to gobble up land and builidngs .. the taxes in the city pushed me out and now I am considering leaving the state as well. O'Malley is an absolute idiot with RAIN tax .. we are already paying a bay tax on our water bills or Metropolitan fees (county tax bills). How many fees and taxes will he pile onto the citizens and where is all the casino money going?? We need more accountability from the leaders of this once great state and city!!
