Prosecutors Seek 30-Year Sentence for Accused Arnold Rapist

The man is accused of forcing sex on a woman and threatening her life, according to prosecutors.

An Arnold man has entered an Alford plea to first-degree rape charges Wednesday, admitting that prosecutors have enough evidence to convict him of a crime in July 2012.

Anne Arundel County prosecutors are seeking a 30-year sentence in their case against George Christopher Kinzer III, 23, of Arnold.

Kinzer is accused of raping a woman in her Arnold home on July 22, 2012, according to court documents.

According to The Capital Gazette, state prosecutors said Kinzer often fished on the woman's property, and forced himself on her while her husband was away. He threatened her life when she refused to have sex with him, prosecutors said.

Kinzer is being held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center in Parole. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for October 1.
